Our Ceremony
My wedding was on October 14, 2006...and I thought I would post my short, sort of Pagan-inspired ceremony. I gathered the bits and pieces of the ceremony from many online and book sources. I picked out what was meaningful to me and my husband and stuck them all together in a mish-mash of stuff. It turned out pretty nice!

Our Ceremony
I borrowed parts of it from www.4wed.net, some from our minister's service he usually uses and the candle ceremony is from The Knot book.

It's kind of long so I put it under a cut, but everyone told us they loved it. My husband is wiccan and I'm christian. The minister was methodist. Congrats to everyone :). We were married on Sept 30, 2005. Almost 4 weeks ago now.

Quickie Halloween Wedding Help
A couple of my friends just announced they're getting married! In three weeks! And I figured since there's a lull in planning my own wedding but I still have weddings on the brain I'd like to help them as much as possible.

They're having a private beach wedding on Halloween. Even though the marriage won't be legal (here's hoping it someday can be) a friend is being ordained to officiate, but other than that we're open to ideas. Everyone is going to dress up too.

So if anyone has any suggestions on what would work for a Halloween ceremony, what would work for a night beach ceremony, or anything else, I'd be appreciative because I adore this couple and want to help make this day special for them.

Mary and Joshua's Secular Wedding Ceremony
Our wedding occurred June 18th, 2005 at the Kinton Grange located near Beaverton, Oregon.

It was a non-religious ceremony performed by the woman who started the acting troupe at the Kinton Grange which Mary belonged to as a child.
